HOW TO BOOK

Rose operates Private Charter & Schedule Cruises.

Private Charter is when you have the boat exclusively to yourselves, you choose the time of departure, the length of cruise, the meal option and the entertainment. Cruise lengths are of a duration of 1 & 1/2 or 3 hours, but you can then add extra hours to the 3 hour charter.

A schedule cruise is one where you book the seat and the set meal and share the boat with other people. Your party will all be seated together on the boat but for parties of 6 and more this will not be on the same table as being a Narrowboat it is impossible to seat more than 3 people in a row. Seating comprises of tables of 4 on one side of the boat and tables of 2 on the other, so 12 people will have 2 rows of 6 and so on.....

When you know what date you require, please ring us on 01455 213838 ext 20  or email us on sue@ashbytrip.com to check availability. At this point we would like to know if you are wanting to book a charter or places on a schedule cruise. If it is a charter we need to know the departure time, and what entertainment you would like (if any). We will then check availability with the chosen entertainer and confirm this with you.

If you need a little time to make sure that all of you party can make the chosen date we will hold that date for you for up to 7 days, if the booking is more than 28 days away. If it is less than 28 days away we will hold that date for you for 24 hours. 

We will then send you either by email if possible or by post if not, a booking form. This will have a deposit form and balance form attached to it. We will then require the deposit form and the deposit of the 20 persons charter fee & 50% entertainment fee if a charter or the seat price if a schedule cruise 7 days from making the booking unless the booking is less than 28 days away. The balance form, balance and meal choices along with payment for decorations & any pre-ordered wine will be due no later than 14 days prior to the cruise date. If the date of the cruise is less than 14 days away then the full payment is required on booking.

Payments can be made in person with cash, cheque, debit or credit card.

Payments can be made over the phone by debit or credit card.

Payments can be paid by putting a cheque in the post.

Cheques to be made out to The Ashby Trip Limited.

Whichever way you make your payment we must have returned both of the completed deposit and balance forms before the cruise can take place.
